After reading “Are You My Mother ？” the story was very captivating。 Reading it as a kid could very interesting。 In my classroom this book would not be ideal for me since people come different backgrounds。 Who’s to say a baby chick cant have a mother who is a dog。 Even though the target audience is young I still believe the message could be better and more developed within the book in todays age。

I have always liked this book， from when I was a child to recently。 I think it is a book that appeals to children of varying ages and is enjoyable to read every time。 My favorite part about this book is not that he goes searching for his mother and that he finds her， it is all of the animals he stops at along the way。 I think it is a really good message that alludes to parenting today， because of how diverse parenting is。 No matter how different the animals and machines looked from the baby bird I have always liked this book， from when I was a child to recently。 I think it is a book that appeals to children of varying ages and is enjoyable to read every time。 My favorite part about this book is not that he goes searching for his mother and that he finds her， it is all of the animals he stops at along the way。 I think it is a really good message that alludes to parenting today， because of how diverse parenting is。 No matter how different the animals and machines looked from the baby bird， he thought they all could have been his mother。 Also， the ending is very heartwarming because even though the baby bird was looking for his mother the entire book， when he finally found his mother， he know it was her without even asking。 。。。more

Some of the things I liked about this book was that once the baby was born he knew he had a mother even though he didnt know who it may be。 I would have the children tell me the names of animals the bird goes around asking， are you my mother。 The ending of the book is really good。
